A little bad news
Sadly, only CU affilliates can connect to the campus network. This means that you will not be able to use the wireless network with your laptop unless you are a CU student, staff or faculty member (you must have an Identikey). This is a CU policy that we are unable to change.
Due to licensing restrictions, you will not be able to access our "law only" or "CU only" databases from off campus - but, see the good news below.
Some good news!
The law library provides 12 public research terminals for you to use while you're at the library. These computers don't have Microsoft Office or other word processing software, but they are able to access the library catalog and most library databases. You can also print out any research results using a print card.
Almost all of our commercial databases are licensed for public walk-in use. This means that you will have access to databases for finding journal articles, court opinions, statutes and even electronic forms. The law library also provides public access to Shepard's Citations and West's Key Cite citator for making sure your research is up-to-date.
